We are an autistic-led UK charity that supports autistic young people aged 10–17 who are struggling with long-term isolation, burnout and mental distress as a result of living in a world not designed for their sensory, communication or social needs.

Based in Greater Manchester, but working online across the UK, we provide daily moderated digital youth spaces (Discord and Minecraft), regular in-person meetups at our youth centre in Bury and across Greater Manchester, alongside advocacy and training that help families, schools and services better understand and support autistic young people.

“I feel much less alone. I feel part of a community, where I can make a difference and meet people who have similar experiences to me.” — Spectrum Gaming young person” - SG Young Person

“It’s helped me find a stable friend group that i can speak to about anything and can joke about with!!!” - Young person in the SG community

the difference you can make for autistic young people

64% of young people in Spectrum Gaming tell us they can’t access any other social spaces, and that we’re the only place they feel able to engage with at all.

That’s why our community matters so much.

With the right support, autistic young people who rarely left their bedrooms let alone their homes, have found connection, joy, happiness, and a sense of hope for the future.

Voting for Spectrum Gaming would protect services that aren’t just ‘nice to have’ for autistic young people.

Support from Games Aid would not only help us secure a community that so many rely on but give us some breathing space to figure out a way to support even more autistic young people who are deserving of the same support.

If you are a Games Aid member, you will receive your ballot via email. Please consider selecting Spectrum Gaming as one of your charities and sharing this page with friends, colleagues or anyone you know who can vote in the Games Aid ballot!

Thank you!
