Joining the Minecraft Server on Bedrock (Xbox, Ps4, Nintendo Switch)

Main Server Details:

Server name: [write whatever server name you like]

Server Address: spectrumgaming.fun

Port: 19132

Rule Server Details:

Server name: [write whatever server name you like]

Server Address: rules.spectrumgaming.fun

Port: 40000

Troubleshooting details (for bedrock):

Server name: [write whatever server name you like]

Server Address: beta.spectrumgaming.fun

Port: 40014

If it is your first time on our server you will need to join the Rules Server first and play a minigame before being given access to the Main Server :)

Method 1 (recommended)

(The video shows adding 'Public GC' but you should instead add 'JoinSG' as written in the text instructions)

  1. When you load up minecraft click Play

  2. Next click on the Friends tab at the top

  3. Then click on Add Friend

  4. After that Enter the gamertag JoinSG then press enter

  5. It should then show the JoinSG Profile, Click on Add Friend

  6. Now go back to the main menu and wait for the bot to add you back, this may take between 30 seconds - 5 minutes.

  7. Once the bot adds you back click on the Friends tab again and you should see the option to join "SpectrumGaming" Under joinable friends.

  8. When you join a menu will pop up asking you which server you would like to join, "Rules" or the "Main server", If you are a new member and have not yet joined you will need to join the "Rules" server and complete it before being able to join the Main server.

Method 2 (requires an IOS or Android device)

1. Download the "Bedrock together" app on your IOS or Android device, you can find the app downloads below:

2. Once downloaded make sure your IOS or Android device and your Minecraft device are connected to the same wifi connection.

 

3. Open the bedrock together app and enter in the following information at the bottom under "Connect":

Main Server:

IP: spectrumgaming.fun

Port: 19132

Rules Server:

IP: rules.spectrumgaming.fun

Port: 40000

​

Troubleshooting IPs to try (if the above does not work) - beta.spectrumgaming.fun (port: 40014)

4. Once you enter the details above click "Add to favorite" to save the details for the future and then click "Watch Ad and Run"

5. An ad will play, but once that has finished click off the ad and keep the bedrock together app open. If you are rejoining the server under "Favourite servers" you should see the spectrumgaming.fun:19132 (or whatever ip you used above) you can just click that to automatically fill out the details for you.

6. Now load up minecraft on your device (Switch, xbox, playstation, etc) and navigate to Play > Friends > and you should now see under "Lan Games" a "BedrockTogether" server.

7. Join the server, If you used the IP "Spectrumgaming.fun" you should be connected to the spectrumgaming server. If it is your first time on our server you will need to join the Rules Server first and play a minigame before being given access to the Main Server :)

 

To rejoin the server, follow steps from step 3!

Method 3

  1. When you load up minecraft click Play

  2. Next click on the Friends tab at the top

  3. Then click on Add Friend

  4. After that Enter the gamertag JoinSG then press enter

  5. It should then show the JoinSG Profile, Click on Add Friend

  6. Now go back to the main menu and wait for the bot to add you back, this may take between 30 seconds - 5 minutes.

  7. Once the bot adds you back click on the Friends tab again and you should see the option to join US Public GeyserConnect proxy! Under joinable friends.

  8. When you join it you will see a “notice” popup which says to not join big servers such as hypixel on bedrock as you may get banned. You can scroll down and click Submit!

  9. Once you click submit it will take you to a server list, if you click on custom servers

  10.  Then you can click on Edit servers And then click on Add server and enter the details below:

IP: spectrumgaming.fun

Port: 19132

Toggle online mode to light grey (this should already be toggled)

Toggle Bedrock/Geyser server to light grey (you can do this by clicking on the button slider)

12. Once you enter the details above, click submit

13. You can then click the back button and join the spectrumgaming server!

 

To rejoin a server, follow steps 7, 8, 9 and 13!

The video above walks you through connecting to servers on xbox or switch, In the video it will mentioning turning the setting "Bedrock server" OFF but you need to turn it ON to join the spectrumgaming server,  the correct server details are also below as the details mentioned in the video are for a different server, other than that you can follow the video above.

Troubleshooting

If you receive a message saying you are not whitelisted

 

 

If you receive this message, it may mean one of the following:

  • You have not yet signed up to or been verified to join Spectrum Gaming

  • You are new and have not yet completed the Rules Minigame - Please join the Rules Server first.

  • When you signed up to join Spectrum Gaming, your Minecraft username was not entered or it was entered incorrectly 

  • You have changed your username since signing up to Spectrum Gaming, or have made a new Java account 

If you need to let us know a new or correct Minecraft username please open a Minecraft Support Ticket in the Discord server.

If you receive a message saying you have been temporarily taken off the server whitelist

 

 

If you receive this message, it may mean one of the following:​

  • There has been an incident on the server which involves you, and we would like to work together with you to see how we can fix any difficulties you may have experienced 

  • We may have felt you would benefit from a break from the server, as sometimes emotions get very high!

 

If you receive the above message and a Minecraft moderator has not contacted you already (they usually will), please open a Minecraft Support Ticket in the Discord server.

If you are unable to join the server for any other reason​

  • Try using this server address instead: mc.spectrumgaming.fun

  • Try deleting the server and adding it back

  • Check you have an internet connection and that your connection is strong. Consider restarting your internet router

  • Check the Minecraft server announcements channel on Discord, there may be network issues or scheduled downtime

If after trying all of the above your issue has not been resolved, please open a Minecraft Support Ticket on the Discord server and share any error codes that you receive
